Hi, I’m Kara of 40weekFIT! I am a fitness professional with advanced training in pre/postnatal corrective exercise, and diastasis and core consulting. During my pregnancies I was eager to stay active but I wasn’t quite sure how to do so safely, from that place of confusion and frustration my passion to help guide other mommas through a fit pregnancy was born. I believe that prevention is the best form of treatment, and I’m a mission to empower women to continue doing what they love throughout pregnancy, whether that’s weightlifting, barre, yoga, or running. By implementing some simple yet effective techniques, I am here to help you have the most comfortable pregnancy and postpartum period possible, reducing common complaints such as lower back pain, pelvic pain, diastasis recti, and more.
Our program offers online coaching as well as tailored fitness plans to your week of pregnancy. I am excited to also be offering occasional fitness and wellness workshops in the area as well as in home 1:1 training. Our programs offer guided stretching, pre/postnatal friendly workouts, labor training, a community of like minded mommas, and general wellness advice and recommendations.
